Accidentally Married on Purpose by Rachel Harris

Accidentally Married on Purpose

By Rachel Harris

One ring plus one wild night equals one crazy love

Sherry Robicheaux loves men. She loves love. And she loves an adventure. So when she meets a mysterious man while working backstage at a country music concert in Vegas, she’s all about what happens in Vegas staying there. Country music superstar Tyler Blue just wants a weekend of anonymity…though there’s something about the spunky waitress with the streaks of purple hair that tempts him like no other. Until the next morning, when they both wake up with fuzzy memories…and rings on their fingers. Convincing Sherry to maintain the ruse for his public image isn’t the hardest part—it’s reminding himself that their time spent playing husband and wife in her small town of Magnolia Springs can’t last. Tyler’s first love will always be music—and the road is no place for a sweet downhome girl.

Kathie's Review:

Charming! Charming! Charming! Yes, that's what this book was. I kept expecting to see some steamy times in this one, but it was all fade to black. And you know what? I didn't miss the "tab A into slot B" scenario at all! There were some sweet, HOT kisses that nearly melted my kindle. You know the kind that makes you all swoony? Yes, this book has them. Well done, Ms. Harris!

Sherry wants to have one last adventure before she buckles down and finds some boring guy to settle with. Yes, she's ready to "settle" because she's made some bad choices in men over the years. Apparently she needs boring to avoid heartache. She's in Vegas overseeing the catering job her family has and she meets this guy with a HUGE ... belt buckle. She doesn't know he's the famous Tyler Blue, of BLUE. She just knows she's smitten, at least for the weekend.

For his part, Tyler isn't ready to settle down. Although his agent and the record company thinks he really should. He's pretty smitten by this little firecracker that doesn't know who he is. Why not have some fun for a weekend? Right?

They are both pretty shocked when they wake to hangovers, a wedding CD, and rings! She still doesn't know WHO he is. And he figures he can just make the marriage go away before anyone knows. Because, you know, secrets like that can always be kept...not!

Ah, such a sweet, fun, CHARMING story of these two trying to find their way to each other. I seriously loved it. I will most definitely be reading more for Rachel Harris.

Thank you, Entangled and Ms. Harris, for the opportunity to read this book.

Rachel Harris writes humorous love stories about sassy girls-next-door and the hot guys that make them swoon. Emotion, vibrant settings, and strong families are a staple in each of her books...and kissing. Lots of kissing.   A Cajun cowgirl now living in Houston, she firmly believes life's problems can be solved with a hot, sugar-coated beignet or a thick slice of king cake, and that screaming at strangers for cheap, plastic beads is acceptable behavior in certain situations. She home schools her two beautiful girls and watches way too much Food Network with her amazing husband.   An admitted Diet Mountain Dew addict, she gets through each day by laughing at herself, hugging her kids, and losing herself in story. She writes young adult, new adult, and adult romances, and LOVES talking with readers!
